This 12 piece 3/8" pass through socket set has been developed for applications where standard sockets are too short or cannot pass over long threaded studs. The extra long 120 mm design combined with the near full length pass through bore allows access to deep seated fasteners and nuts positioned on protruding threaded bolts.
The precision 6 point profile provides a secure fit on fasteners whilst helping to reduce rounding under load.
Particularly suitable for restricted access areas such as bumpers, rear light assemblies, door hinges and handbrake cable adjusters where conventional sockets reach their limits. The 10 mm socket is especially useful for handbrake adjustment work on various VAG, Opel, Ford and BMW vehicles.
Also suitable for selected diesel engine applications including glow plugs with 10 mm and 12 mm hex fittings.
