The hydraulic commercial ball joint splitter is designed for heavy vehicle maintenance and features a new design that efficiently presses out ball joints and brake or slack adjusters on trucks, buses and trailers. Wheel bolts can also be dismounted and mounted smoothly thanks to the clever design. The press tools can be rotated to suit different working widths between the pressing arms, and two supplied spacer rings provide the necessary adjustment for varied tasks.
The fork press arm offers an opening of either 42 mm or 56 mm depending on the chosen side. The two press tools can swap positions on the hydraulic cylinder, giving superior access in confined areas such as around the wheel hub, near sway bars or close to hidden steering joints on buses. The hydraulic cylinder delivers up to 8.8 tonnes of force, ensuring safe, easy and controlled removal. A safety belt is included to secure the tool and prevent accidental drops during operation.
