Corrosion and carbon build up around the hex fitting often make the valve extremely difficult to loosen in the confined space, which commonly leads to damage or complete destruction of the injection unit. The compact design and accurately formed opening allow the wrench to fit securely over the hex, even in tight areas. Used with a ½ inch square drive, it enables controlled loosening of the valve without harming the injection unit or the hex fitting.
