The 22 ton hydraulic cylinder is a versatile handheld unit designed for a wide range of pressing and extraction tasks directly on the vehicle. It is commonly used with wheel bearing replacement kits, where it provides the necessary force to remove and install bearings without the need for extensive dismantling. The same cylinder can be applied for pressing out seized drive shafts, renewing bushes both on and off the vehicle, and handling other high-load pressing jobs such as ball joint replacement.
It can be connected to either the manual hydraulic foot pump (part no. 80255560) or the pneumatic air hydraulic pump (part no. 80255570). All cylinders are constructed to withstand hammer shock, allowing an impact strike to be applied where components are severely seized to help break them free.
12 mm and 14 mm spindles are available separately to extend its application range. This makes the cylinder a multi-purpose solution for heavy vehicle service work, minimising strip-down time and increasing efficiency.
